Submitting Manuscripts
Contact Rujuke by email (editor@rujuke.com). Most manuscripts are Word files submitted as email attachments. Either Windows or Macintosh files are fine. I will edit the Word document directly using Word's "track changes" feature so that you can see and approve edits.
If you would prefer a different format or would like to send material by mail or courier service, email me and we can discuss specifics.
Please send any figures and tables with all manuscripts. High-quality, accurate editing depends on the editor understanding fully your arguments and meaning. So if the figures and tables are necessary to your presentation, I need to see them! (click here for more information).
After I receive the manuscript, I will examine it and send you a free quote for your approval before beginning the edit.
Jobs are either regular or rush.
Regular turnaround, for a journal article of 30 pages (1 page = 250 words) or less, is typically 10 business days (excludes weekends and certain holidays). Check my calendar for more information.
If you have a rush job coming up, email Rujuke as soon as possible to reserve service.
Suggestions for sending figures:
- Send low- to medium-resolution scans (e.g., GIF, TIF, JPG, PICT) as email attachments
- Convert them to PDF format and send as an email attachment
- Post them on a website for me to download
- Fax them (email for a fax number)
- Photoshop, Illustrator, and PowerPoint files are also okay.
- Word files with embedded figures may be excessively large and unwieldy. It is better if you send figures as separate files.
